Long narrow strips remind me of Obiturary notices, adding to the feeling of being immortalized in time. Earthy colors of background complete the concept of burial, death, and renewal. Haven't I been here before? Been there, seen that, lets do it again.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10294353.post-1148727405237660272006-05-27T06:56:00.000-04:002006-05-27T06:56:00.000-04:00"Together" it says to me."Together" it says to me.Helenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03968788927489716020noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10294353.post-1148324114390570112006-05-22T14:55:00.000-04:002006-05-22T14:55:00.000-04:00Love that piece that you are trying to rename. Maybe the words on it would give you a clue as to what it wants for a name.
The tile looking piece, makes me think of subway walls, Simon & Garfunkle's "Sounds of Silence", one of my all time favorite songs. How about some graffiti? Ticket stubs? Gum or candy wrappers?Toilet tissue, Clean of course!!!
Or how about taking each "tile" cutting them out, making multiple tiles(each it's own little quilt), individuals, & mount them on to a background?Deb Hardmanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01538758042536664177noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10294353.post-1148237386471856802006-05-21T14:49:00.000-04:002006-05-21T14:49:00.000-04:00well you know i love this one!!well you know i love this one!!cfenthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00333589512760709549noreply@blogger.com
