Are you teaching at a retreat by chance? I really need a live silk screen/screen deconstruction class in the worst way and I'd love to take it if you're the instructor.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17208615970286164894noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10294353.post-75730333483804292112009-09-23T10:08:13.316-04:002009-09-23T10:08:13.316-04:00Nom Nom Kandinsky, get thee to the Guggenheim!Nom Nom Kandinsky, get thee to the Guggenheim!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17208615970286164894noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10294353.post-24844663274915267552009-09-23T02:07:46.513-04:002009-09-23T02:07:46.513-04:00Thanks for the link to Roberta Smith's review....Thanks for the link to Roberta Smith's review. We saw the "Gugg" in Bonn and as much Kandinsky as possible in Dessau, Munich and Murnau, also the painted stairs in his Murnau house and his reverse glass paintings which were inspired by 18.-19. century folk art. It is so impressing to know that one of the founders of abstract art travelled Siberia before 1900 for a research on native and Russian folk art.Evahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03005517826999307074noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10294353.post-62065373201111234742009-09-22T13:34:21.442-04:002009-09-22T13:34:21.442-04:00Color me green with envy. He is one of the artists whose work I have always loved thru all his stages of composition and life. The Guggenheim is a perfect place to exhibit his work especially as it is hung with spaces between the work so that it can be really seen and enjoyed. <br />Thank you again.FRANCHI ROSENFELDhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08975781170888557590noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10294353.post-81437086083818361652009-09-22T12:05:55.785-04:002009-09-22T12:05:55.785-04:00Thank you.
