I am having such a good time at QSDS -- catching up with old friends and making new ones. I am sharing a suite with Rosalie Dace and Terry Jarrard-Dimond, both of whom are delights to spend time with and whose work is beautiful. Terry and I have been online friends for many years and are finally getting to spend time together! That is truly a bonus. Rosalie and I have taught in the same places at the same time many times and it is always a joy to see her.
Tonight I had a chance to catch up with Deborah Fell and Kevin Womack -- two very talented artists whom I have not seen in eons. It was an unexpected pleasure.
As for me, I was perfectly happy to supervise and give advice (solicited and uncolicited), and to buy some African and Indian batiks from Becky at St. Theresa's Textile Trove.
Tomorrow, I will have more photos, but these are just a few of the wonderful pieces printed here.

DeeDee specializes in images of landscapes and houses. I can't wait to see what she does with this one! It might be a whole cloth piece. We'll see.

Fabulous print pieces! Oh, if you were only closer to Az! Thank goodness for the internet... I too have made many friends online, you included! Looking forward to seeing more pix.
I'm not sure why you would have to do anything more to their creations...they are works of art in their current state.

I'm thinking of tired and excited at the same time...what full of fun describes this workshop! Intrigued about the piece by DeeDee.
Looks like everyone is being very productive! I have bought hundreds of yards of African fabrics from Becky when she had her stand alone brick and mortar stores in Cincinnati.
I'm surprised to hear St. Theresa's is still in business! I've shopped there and spent lots of money over many years, but every time I go to Cincinnati they've moved without sending an email to customers, and last time their site said you had to make an appointment to even get in the door. They always had such amazing goods, but it just became a chore to get them to take my money. :-(
