Last night, having been delinquent about making a couple of baby quilts, I suddenly got busy and got one started. Gathering up my mismatched blocks from a couple of months ago (and more), I threw them at the wall and sewed them together. Here is the result, which will eventually get bigger. But at least, it is a beginning. It's small, so I will need to add several borders.
Stay tuned while this morphs into something else. For now, I am out the door.

Have a great day playing.
Have a great time playing with Emma! I get to visit Sylvia in less than 2 wks, and for the first time I will get to stay with her overnight on my own! What could possibly go wrong? I've put her to bed at night, and I've gotten her up in the morning; if she wakes up in between, I figure she can get in bed with me and we'll watch (otherwise forbidden) TV and eat ice cream in bed till her distress passes. Don't tell her parents, but I quite honestly don't care about messing up the schedule, or creating a troublesome precedent, and I'm wise enough to know that a little Ben & Jerry's and some mindless old movie viewing isn't going to ruin her for life. Sweet!
Love this composition ALOT!
Wonderful joyful quilt!
Is this baby quilt for Emma?? Perhaps you should save it for HER baby! LOL Have a great day. xo
Morph into something else? Oh, no...it's great the way it is.
Looks like you are having fun. I missed you at an actually excellent ACN meeting.
I love this quilt! So many baby quilts are made from pastels... this one would fascinate a little one for hours, just staring at all the wonderful colors!
Oh Rayna,
I love this,
Cathy B
You are a very lucky woman having an Emma to play with. ;)
I LOVE your baby quilt! I can't wait to see what it morphs into. I just love these type of quilts. I have so many strips from when I worked in the quilt shop that I really need to make more of them.
Hi, Rayna. VERY cool quilt. It's so cheerful it almost dances on its own! Also liked your makeover of the Ohio star--very exciting.
best, nadia
