I had some old thiox paste in the fridge and wanted to see if it would still work. it had been there for months and months, but it was still fine. It started to turn the fabric pink as soon as i put it on.

Hi Rayna - love this piece - reminds me of frozen puddles with the thn film of cracked ice on top! Thanks to you I have now got my thiox recipe sorted, so will be able to ge into some serious discharging - no frozen puddles here in Oz - we go to daylight saving next week, then the long lazy days of summer aren't far off - perfect for dyeing and messing about with wet stuff outside,
Cheers - Hilary
Rayna -- this is gorgeous. Wow wow wow. Wish I could see it in person.
so glad you had a chance to play yesterday!
It does have the feeling of cracked ice over a sidewalk. A puddle you wouldn't want to step in if it weren't frozen. You create very intriguing surfaces Rayna.
