Mimi (on left) lives in Boca Raton and Nancy (right) lives in Los Angeles. She flew in when she heard I was going to be here -- what a treat! I suppose it is undignified for women in their umpteenth decade to giggle so much, but we are past caring. Life is too short.
We spent a day at the flea market and went to the movies to see My Afternoons with Margueritte. Extraordinary. I plan to see it again when I get home.
Tomorrow (Thurs) Nancy and I are both leaving; she's back to L.A. and I am off to the west coast of Fla to the Art Cloth Network annual meeting and expect to be in meetings all day for several days.

Yesterday we went to Miami Beach to visit our parents' 99 year old cousin and afterwards, drove through South Beach. Traffic was a zoo and there was nowhere to park, so I didn't get any photos of the wonderful art deco buildings. Oh, well. Finally, we wandered on Lincoln Road for a while and were in and out of shops. This was one we went into, but since I couldn't make up my mind which of these lovely pairs I needed, I didn't buy any.
Later, we had dinner outdoors in a really good Italian place. This was not it.
My cousin does not have WiFi so I have had to wait my turn to get onto the computer and post or do my emails. Hence, the lag. Tomorrow, on the road. But I will post from the Art Cloth meeting.
