Spring in New Jersey
I like to gauge the seasons - and I suppose, my mood, by my beloved woods. Here they are this morning - halfway through April and most of the way through the alleged beginning of this season. The brown leaves on the tree never change. They are there even in summer - I suppose to remind us that winter is always two steps behind us.
I am waiting for the sun to show its face. In the meantime,I did find something green. Off now to go finish the laundry, have another cup of coffee, and get back on track. Will check back later.
