deep breath

While I'm sitting around dealing with odds and ends, making sure we have everything packed, and while I am on hold with Continental airlines, I figured I would blog a little bit before I lose my Internet..  Newark is the only airport on the planet that does not have free wifi.  Or so it seems.

Yesterday's early a.m. dentist visit turned out to be only a chipped crown rather than the broken tooth/filling I had thought it was. On the way in, I had to snap this picture of the petunias growing in front of the building.
And on the way out, I was so relieved at the 10 minute tooth fix that I treated myself to a bottle or two of color to take with me, just in case.
How could I resist? Walgreen's was having a buy one/get one at half price on these - and @ $ 2.99/full price I could hardly pass up these lovely colors.  I could always paint every other toe a different color if I get a chip or three.

Looking forward to seeing Susan Shie, Elizabeth Barton, and to meeting Lisa Walton at last.  We're all teaching master classes at FoQ before the show actually opens.

In the meantime, I have gone no-mail on all my lists and I have to say there is something liberating about it.  I have the option to read the posts on line but I can't believe I'll miss anything life-changing if I don't (and I won't).

Have you been getting an indordinate number of friend requests on Facebook? Good grief - I am inundated and honestly, some of them make me wonder why these people are the least bit interested in being my friend.  Ample warning: I do not make friends with people who post pictures of their pets instead of their own faces for identity pictures. This person will never be my friend, no matter what.
The next time I post it will probably be in a day or two from somewhere in Suffolk, England.  Ta ta for now.
