RIP Marty Gillman

My sweet husband died this morning (Monday, May 30) after 13 years of living with Parkinson's Disease.
There is nothing else to say.

I am so, so sorry Rayna: my DH died eleven years ago. It may help to pass on a thought someone gave me at the time - the person may be dead, but all they have given you lives on in you. Be kind to yourself - thinking of you.

Rayna, I am so sorry! I lost my dad to Parkinson's... a wicked, slow, wasting disease. I lost my first husband 7 years ago and even though I remarried a wonderful man the loss still resonates. I enjoy your blog so much, it grieves me to hear of your loss. Peggy Fry in Tulsa.

Oh Rayna. I am so sorry. I am glad he no longer has to deal with this horrible disease but it is still a hole in your heart. My father has been living with this for over 15 years and I see the toll it takes on my dad and mum. Know that, in my mind, I am giving you a big hug.
