sore fingers
It's been a while since I have done a lot of sewing by hand. But in the last two days I've been attaching my small pieces to canvas - with stitches. Hard on the digits if you're not used to it. Nonetheless, worth it because at least they are presented decently.
Tomorrow, I hang my work, clean up the design wall (not in that order) , iron the scarves, and vacuum again. It will be another busy day, but I will have photos next time I post.

Sounds like you are keeping very busy.Good luck on the show. I am off to the Crow Timber Barn to work with Elin Noble. I plan to blog about it, but who knows if I will make good on that.
I look forward to seeing the pictures. I have thought about doing this to make some of my small pieces look more art like. I like doing little bits of hand sewing, but through canvas would really make your fingers hurt.
Hand sewing made my skin horny rather soon; my thumb joint just wouldn't get used to holding the needle firmly when pulling it through.
Isn't a sweet feeling knowing you've accomplished something this day.
hugs
