This looks similar to my grandparents wedding picture. They were married in a civil service... and except for the one photo where they look like mobsters and molls... they look this sad.
But there is something mysteriously "sweet" about this shot.
Hmm. Are they your parents when they were really young? Around the early 1900s, like 1918-early 1920s? Are they are posed like this so that the film won't blur or something?

um, because that's the way to pose bac in the day? is this a find out of an old book or flea market? i love it.
