By the sounds of it, the airlines don't pay for the hotels anymore....???
ENJOY your extra day away - REST!
Hope you get a free ticket or an extra bag of pretzels at the least. I'm with Dale Ann--the airlines aren't comping the room??
They should comp so much more. How dare they? But the sense of humor that shows up in your report will help to make the best out of it. Have a good time!
Sorry to hear about your travel woes, and Crit Group is here, not Judy's! Good think Rachel is driving! ;-)
I hope you have a safe and speedy trip home.
Oh, my. At least the hotel was good, and dinner. I'm not surprised United didn't comp anything - you know how I feel about flying and about United in particular. Safe rest of the trip home.
Welcome home, Rayna, whenever you get there! I hope your trip in first class was worth it! Can't wait for the next episode...

What a wonderful travelogue, Rayna, despite the United woes (I've had my share myself!) Hope you arrived home safely. Can't wait to see the pics of the finished artwork of your students; the fabric is lovely!
So glad you had cute guys and martinis to ease the pain! *grin*
There is nothing worse than getting stuck in an airport because of delays, missed connections and officious airport staff when all you want is to just be home as quickly as possible. It sounds like you made the very best of the ordeal. I am left with 4 pieces from your class and so excited to go at them--thank you so much!
