little by little
I am getting something done. Tonight, I finally stitched a piece that has been sitting on my chair in the studio for several weeks. This was one I had printed on a gelatin plate and then overprinted. The picture isn't great, but there it is. It is attached to canvas and the contrast is much stronger in actuality between the background and foreground.
My crit group is coming tomorrow, so I had to have something to show, didn't I?
It has been a long time since I have had work to show. On that note, I shall go get my beauty sleep.

I think this piece is wonderful. Love the colors.
I REALLY LOVE THIS RAYNA! LOOKS LIKE MULTICOLORED TREES!!!!
It looks promising, indeed.
I am still deep cleaning my studio. Yuck. But I am finding all kinds of gems....
Love this. Are the trees thermofax screens?
Yes, the tree is a thermofax of the tree in front of my house. Now I just have to decide how to finish it.
Love it, the lights/darks, the repeats that aren't quite exact repeats. Very nice.
